World Bipolar Day focuses on how bipolar disorder affects the lives of many. It also serves as a tribute to those dedicated to alleviating the challenges that come with the condition. The purpose of the day is to generate global awareness of bipolar disorder as well as eliminate the social stigma that comes with it.
Bipolar disorder is a brain disorder that creates unusual shifts in mood, energy and a person’s activity levels. Often individuals with the condition will struggle in carrying out everyday tasks.

WORLD BIPOLAR DAY HISTORY
World Bipolar Day commemorates the birth of Vincent Van Gogh on March 30th. After his death, he was post humously diagnosed as having bipolar disorder. Thee Asian Network of Bipolar Disorder (ANBD), the International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF), and the International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD) sparked interest in an international day to bring greater awareness to the world.

On the occasion of World Bipolar Day, observed globally on March 30, 2026, we are organizing a Free Mental Health Check-up Camp to promote awareness, early detection, and support for individuals facing mental health challenges, including bipolar disorder.

🕘 Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Venue: D 22 block 17 behind national stadium. Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Karachi.
